Vyberte si niektorý z jazykov: Vyberte jazyk __ ## Background on industry standards Meta Content Monetization Policies are designed to categorize content into inventory filters (brand suitability), that provide advertisers the ability to select their chosen suitability criteria for their ad placement adjacent to content. Our policy aligns broadly with the industry standards on the brand safety floor and suitability framework around brand safety and suitability. **Brand Safety Floor** : Identifies 12 content categories that pose risk to advertisers, whereby advertisers might choose to adopt a 'never appropriate' position for their ad buys. We meet and exceed these categories through our enforcement of Community Standards. This content should not appear on our platforms. **Brand Suitability Framework** : Details different classes of content within each of the 12 categories and assigns levels that advertisers can use to determine their own suitability for content, understanding that not all advertisers will have the same view or spectrum of suitability. We provide controls to help advertisers match this spectrum. This document refers to the alignment between Meta Content Monetization Categories. ## Policy nuance In some instances we have a stricter line of enforcement in place, such as in the case of online piracy and spam, where this content is removed from the platform under Community Standards policy. Similarly, while Meta removes all hateful conduct from the platform, under the brand suitability framework definitions, some hateful conduct is considered high risk. These differences in policy enforcement are to be expected, as is some policy variation across platforms and the brand safety floor. **Meta policy category**| [**Brand suitability framework equivalent**](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwfanet.org%2Fl%2Flibrary%2Fdownload%2Furn%3Auuid%3A6a6092d3-f859-4117-81b4-4d46226e5de2%2Fgarm%2Bbrand%2Bsafety%2Bfloor%2B%252B%2Bsuitability%2Bframework_june%2B2022.pdf&h=AT7kfezNW4ylXLHxjAt8_-bp66gQIVQrnWeebdojfI4Ss772pSwbSn8LY9W9sStG_LIhKNfl6T2lT00sOlgpWYvGQ7eP-cZ739QK5Iu_HaMkAR1J0hnyerJ-CKgVi7cqQy9XTkzQXRacTQ) ---|--- [Debated social issues](/help/1348682518563619)| Debated sensitive social issue [Tragedy or conflict](/help/1348682518563619)| Death, injury or military conflict | Crime and harmful acts to individuals and society, human right violations [Objectionable activity](/help/1348682518563619)| Arms and ammunition | Illegal drugs, tobacco, ecigarettes, vaping, alcohol [Sexual or suggestive activity](/help/1348682518563619)| Adult and explicit sexual content [Strong language](/help/1348682518563619)| Hateful speech and acts of aggression | Obscenity and profanity, including language, gestures, and explicitly gory, graphic or repulsive content intended to shock and disgust [Explicit content](/help/1348682518563619)| Death and injury, gory, graphic and repulsive content [Community standards violations](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftransparency.meta.com%2Fpolicies%2Fcommunity-standards&h=AT5KsihmCQSKRr3W8GCi0vDeYbT4DeEiR1LJzo2-2UjYBdeRUbhe92Qcm1VnSD3e-gwXso9Me101T8JeKEMbJQYp5GkINkf6JxBbsxGMsWKZ1MSjK4EoUdPAObj2JpOMfGrt7P9_YLZ29g)| Online piracy | Spam or harmful content | Terrorism [Misinformation policy](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftransparency.meta.com%2Fen-gb%2Fpolicies%2Fcommunity-standards%2Fmisinformation%2F&h=AT6eVrSy-Qx8VQZTKPrhYROiU8g9IiD_F8h6oZMuV4pjd1KT7Oi-PcoskwSly3cwgQlgNDnb-W-uT9NXv0lCd7H5CuU3U_5skow4nQqcnUdGd0xhpESEFKdrXbBF9f7ec12Tj24vEQqkDA)| Misinformation ## Learn more * [About inventory filter](/help/3001448133206080) * [Meta's brand safety description of methodology](/help/4360253257396424) [![Trvalý odkaz](images/78f2e14aa9d5d8598605348a3650390c3fd7a316.webp)](/business/help/866941431052802?helpref=uf_permalink)[![Zdieľať](images/0b78e296ca5712aad5a386f086c5cdb939025ea0.webp)](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fbusiness%2Fhelp%2F866941431052802) ## Get the latest updates from Meta for Business.
