This is still the best place to learn about the rules for earning money with your content. All promotions (contests, giveaways and sweepstakes) run by publishers, creators and third-party providers on Facebook monetization products are subject to all applicable Facebook and Meta policies. This includes but is not limited to our [Terms of Service](/legal/terms), [Community Standards](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftransparency.meta.com%2Fpolicies%2Fcommunity-standards%2F&h=AT75lUzs27JzcOT0aTwzUDG-gBaOJ0f8ynoR0QhAJP7LqCxkQMh00EzJ7INTlxbBaGb5zc20oeazwAFWQsTEza2-VMp4ooj1lBOS7gsTvcg8ERsBU4kWJOQekIixjgizW3SV8Jp0dFrJvA), [Partner Monetization](/business/help/169845596919485) and [Content Monetization](/business/help/1348682518563619) policies, and product terms of service. These guidelines are not a substitute for reading and complying with all applicable Facebook and Meta policies for a given promotion. You're responsible for ensuring that your promotion complies with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations. ### ## Monetization promotion guidelines The following must be taken into account when running promotions on Facebook: ![](images/eaffcc147e7de6324f2dada9b17105a74567e9dd.svg) ### General restrictions and requirements 1. Promotions cannot be administered behind a paywall or through content that is only available when users pay to engage on a page and must be offered to everyone without restrictions to just fans or subscribers. 2. Promotions must not facilitate or promote online gambling, online real money gambling or online lotteries (such as sweepstakes that require payment of some kind). 3. Our policies prohibit offering incentives, compensation, or other benefits (including sweepstakes or contest entries) for any behavior that artificially boosts engagement not in compliance with our Terms of Service. 4. You're not permitted to give away physical goods in connection with any promotion. You can offer virtual gifts, for example, to celebrate special occasions, such as reaching a follower milestone. ![](images/eaffcc147e7de6324f2dada9b17105a74567e9dd.svg) ### Administering promotions 1. **You're responsible:** If you use Facebook to communicate or administer a promotion, you're responsible for the lawful operation of that promotion, including but not limited to: * The official rules; * Offer terms and eligibility requirements (ex: age and residency restrictions); and * Compliance with applicable rules and regulations governing the promotion and all prizes offered (ex: registration and obtaining necessary regulatory approvals). 2. **Required content:** Promotions must include the following: * A complete release of Facebook by each entrant or participant; and * Acknowledgement that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. 3. **Administration of a promotion** * Promotions may be administered on Pages, Groups, Events or within apps on Facebook. * Personal Timelines and friend connections must not be used to administer promotions (ex: “share on your Timeline to enter” or “share on your friend's Timeline to get additional entries”, and "tag your friends in this post to enter" are not permitted). 4. **Assumption of risk** * Facebook will not assist you in the administration of your promotion, and you agree that if you use a Facebook product or service to administer your promotion, you do so at your own risk. 5. **Limitations to Subscriptions or Stars products** * Promotions must be offered broadly on your page; you cannot limit entry to paid subscribers only, nor can you require someone to provide anything of value to enter promotions (for example, cannot require users to send Stars in order to enter). * See [Subscriptions Terms of Service](/legal/fan_funding_creator_terms) and [Stars Terms of Service](/legal/stars_streamer_terms/). ## Learn more * [About rules for monetization](/business/help/185404538833362) [![Trvalý odkaz](images/78f2e14aa9d5d8598605348a3650390c3fd7a316.webp)](/business/help/1494941357361432?helpref=uf_permalink)[![Zdieľať](images/0b78e296ca5712aad5a386f086c5cdb939025ea0.webp)](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fbusiness%2Fhelp%2F1494941357361432) Boli tieto informácie užitočné?
